RMS has provided the 2020-2021 Remote-Learning Daily Bell Schedule. The first two weeks of the school year are four-day weeks. For the weeks ending September 4 & September 11, Wednesday will be eliminated, Monday will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday shifted to Wednesday. | Watch Recorded Family Info Sessions | RMS PTSA Awarded National Grant! | Redmond Middle PTSA became a recipient of the National PTA's COVID Relief Funding! Only 14% of the applicants received the grant, as many PTSAs across the nation sought extra funding to help support the students and communities they serve during this unprecedented, challenging time.
With the grant, RMS PTSA team will be planning for and hosting a few fun and meaningful activities this fall to re-energize the sense of RMS community and rekindle the Grizzly sprit - even if remotely! Check out our Mask Design Contest! Please look out for more information in future Bear Tracks newsletters and on our website. As always, volunteers make everything possible, including Family and Community Engagement (F.A.C.E) programs such as Parent Education and Advocacy. While we won't be able to meet you in person, PTSA wants you to know that we are still here and want you to join us in our mission! Our "Welcome Packet" is online this year at http://rmsptsa.org/packet/join and it is filled with the same important forms and information as before. Please contact [email protected] to arrange to get a packet. | PTSA Membership Scholarships | PTSA provide membership scholarships to families and staff members facing financial challenges. Scholarships are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with no application process. If your family needs financial assistance during the unique circumstances this fall, now's the time to take advantage of a PTSA membership scholarship. We want to remove financial barriers to you being more engaged in your students’ school and PTSA!To receive a scholarship to join PTSA, simply visit "Join RMS PTSA", login or sign up, and choose membership products with the word "Scholarship" next to them. There is no application process and your scholarship will be applied immediately. | Many companies offer employees companies match program. If you or your spouse work for one of these generous employers, you may be able to DOUBLE your donations to PTSA. In the past, companies that participate in this program included Boeing, Expedia, Hornell Anderson Design, Microsoft, Starbucks, UBS, United Way, Wells Fargo. Reach out to your company to learn how to match your donation to RMS PTSA.
