RMS Curriculum Night, Sept. 29 | Join RMS live at 6:30 PM for an online Curriculum Night. Please watch for an email from Associate Principal Stuart Prince on Monday, September 28 that will have the link to the Live Teams event as well as a list of links that correspond to your student's schedule. If you have any questions please connect with Mr. Prince at stprince@lwsd.org. | Redmond Middle School has introduced the "Grizzly Gram" newsletter! It will contain fun facts about RMS, articles about teachers, staff, and students, as well as information regarding upcoming events. The "Grizzly Gram" will be published twice each month. View the "Grizzly Gram" latest edition. | Mask Design Contest Winner! | We have a winner, Design #3! The winning design is titled "Grizzly Pride." This student writes "My design depicts a student's pride of being a Grizzly and following the Grizzly way." The contest winner will receive $20 and a free mask!
Thank you to ALL the students who participated in this fun contest and thank you to all that voted! We received more than 160 votes from families, staff, community members! The winning design will be used on the “official” 2020-21 RMS masks for sale. The proceeds will help supplement hygiene kits to be distributed to RMS families in need. Keep an eye out for promotions related to the sale of the masks via the website soon! | Math Club Registration and Parent Night | Science Team Info Night, Sept. 24 (Repeat) | Join us for the Science Team Info Night! Please mark the date, timing, and meeting link for the virtual meeting this year. Please visit the RMS PTSA Meetings webpage for details on how to join and other meeting dates. | Last Chance for Reflections (Repeat) | RMS PTSA needs a Reflections chairperson to head up the program for the 2020-2021 school year. Because the orientation meeting for chairpersons that will outline new changes to the process is Monday, September 21, please contact enrichment@rmsptsa.org ASAP if you are willing to help out! If no one comes forward, RMS PTSA won't be able to support the program this year. | Last Week to Enroll for Enrichment! (Repeat) | The RMS and Horace Mann PTSAs have teamed up to offer some exciting online Enrichment Classes this Fall - Morning Dance/Fitness, Roblox Game Programming, Drama, Cartooniversity, and Dinner Club! Enrollment will be open September 11-25 and classes will start the week of September 28. Age requirements are listed on the website for each class.
