Washington State PTA just uploaded a new video to the Advocacy Submission Process playlist. Check out local PTA president Mike Uehara-Bingen telling his story to encourage local leaders to step up to advocacy by submitting an issue, resolution or principle for the WSPTA legislative platform.

All you need is to care deeply about your issue, and be committed to being part of the solution. Any PTA member is encouraged to take action and submit an issue, resolution, or legislative principle that addresses concerns that affect children on a state-wide level. As a grassroots association, WSPTA relies on our members to provide the priorities that we will advocate for at the state level and within our communities. Learn more about our legislative priorities and the history of our advocacy efforts. The submission process is now open. The deadline for final submissions is June 1, 2021.
